Athmeeya Yathra Television began with Metropolitan Dr. KP Yohannan’s vision to encourage people along their spiritual journey. Knowing that each individual faces their own struggles in life, he wanted to offer programs that would uplift, challenge and bring hope. His daily Malayalam broadcasts reflect this, providing practical messages that help people to grow and thrive.
Through television, radio and literature, Metropolitan Dr. KP Yohannan has been bringing hope and healing to families for more than 30 years.
Dr. KP Yohannan‘s desire to help the poor and underprivileged and bring them into the mainstream has inspired Believers Eastern Church‘s many social initiatives. Bridge of Hope, one of the many humanitarian projects initiated by Dr. KP Yohannan, Metroplitan is helping tens of thousands of underprivileged children get education and thus giving them hope of a better future.
Metropolitan, Dr. KP Yohannan’s another initiative named Asha Grih provides shelter and rehabilitation to homeless and street children.
Dr. KP Yohannan, Metropolitan is committed to giving India’s youth access to education that will equip them with both the skills and values they need to succeed. Believers Church Schools were started to help meet this goal.
Apart from education, Dr. KP Yohannan, Metropolitan believes in quality health care for quality living and this has resulted in opening medical centers and hospitals which provide medical care to the community at large. His vision is that these centers will provide quality holistic healthcare in an environment where patients can find both healing and wholeness.
